Potholes, obscene music on the buses (which run on whatever schedule seems most profitable), housing that collapses or is promised, but not completed, government facilities that are closed or sold because of admitted inability to maintain, etc.

All hail our internationally renowned Comrade! Once the washed-away road in front of my house is repaired, I might even be able to get to town to buy some basic provisions that have just gone up in price (although my pay hasn’t).
