Please help us save our sisters

Editor: Save Our Sisters (SOS) Inc, an NGO, that was established as of January 15, 2015 to help combat the violence against women in St Vincent and the Grenadines and other regions has been officially approved by the US Federal Government as a 501c3 organization that can receive tax deductible contributions.{{more}}

Our website is up and running with lots of information about violence against women, as well as advice for women who are currently living in these types of situations. We are in the process of applying for grants so that we can establish a women’s shelter in SVG as a safe haven for women in crisis, as well as provide these women and their families with the necessary support to overcome these abuses. We hope that the public will be supportive in helping us to help these women. Together, we can all make a difference. Former US President, John F Kennedy said: “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.” Vincentians, this is our time to come together and make a difference.
