How many more young men must die?

Tue Oct 15, 2013

Editor: Too many of our young men are dying and our people need to know the real reason why.{{more}}

How many more of our young men must die and go to a lost eternity, before we wake up and recognize that this is the plot of the enemy?

In John 10:10, the Bible tells us that “the thief (Satan) cometh not but to steal, and to kill and to destroy.”

It is nothing new to say that our nation is under a satanic attack.

From the way things are going, it seems as if our young men are the prime target at which this enemy aims his lethal weapons. Young men are full of potential; young men can lead the army that is rising up in the name of Jesus. So, our enemy the Devil is trying to see just how many of our strong young men he can take.

This is what the word of God says in 1st John 2:14 “I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong and the word of God abideth in you.”

Sad to say, our strong young men are being taken away from us, and it is time we wake up and realize that this is a trick of the Devil.

How many of our young men are locked away in prison?

How many of our young men are in the Mental Health Centre?

How many of our young men are roaming the streets daily, walking about as vagrants and social outcasts?

Worst yet, how many of our young men have died?

Steven ‘Bolo’ Charles, Terrence Junior John, Recardo ‘Smokey’ Roberts, Danroy John and Atijo Lockhart, to name a few.

These were all Vincentian young men who have died tragically within the last month or so.

Two of those named above were still enjoying their teenage years when the breath of life was taken from them.

Young people “remember now thy creator in the days of thy youth.”

This attack on our young men comes out of Satan’s book of tricks on how to destroy a nation.

The enemy knows that if he takes away the strong young men, he will shake the very foundation on which society is built.

He knows that if he depletes the young male population, he has taken away future husbands from our young women.

With that strike, he hits a deadly blow to the family unit which God has ordained.

My fellow Vincentians, let us be sober and vigilant, because we know that our adversary the Devil walketh about seeking whom he may devour.

This warning is given to us in 1st Peter 5:8.

My people, let us cover our precious children and loved ones with the Blood of Jesus, so that the darts of the enemy will not be able to penetrate.

Just as how there is an army with soldiers for Jesus Christ, there is also an army with soldiers for the Devil.

Young men, Jesus loves you, he gave his life for you; please repent of your sins and turn your life over to Him. Do not allow the Devil to snatch you in the prime of your life before you receive the free gift of salvation. I ask the question, how many more must die before we begin to trample on the enemy?

Your Humble Servant
