Vincentians, beware of Jezebel Spirit!

Tue Aug 6, 2013

EDITOR: I will be very thankful if you publish this letter as a further warning to the nation about the presence of a mighty evil force here, which is causing our people to turn against each other, in a most violent and cruel manner.{{more}}

Over one year ago, Vincentians were given a sound warning that there is a predator in the land.

Letters in the media sought to alert our people about the presence and operations of the Jezebel Spirit in St Vincent and the Grenadines.

Instead of taking warning and using the weapons of our warfare to cast out this force of evil, we have chosen to be a most hospitable host to the Jezebel Spirit.

As a result, this evil spirit now has firm roots in our land.

This predator is spreading its wings, making disciples and other jezebelites who also carry out its evil works.

Although this spirit thrives in darkness, and under a heavy cloud of deception, it has been unmasked, and revealed by God’s Holy Spirit.

We were warned that where the Spirit of Jezebel is, there will be no peace. Violence and crime will be the order of the day. Rebellion and hatred will be rampant and sexual promiscuity will become a norm.

Are these things happening in our society today? Brother killing brother, friend killing friend, innocent lives being lost to the bullet. Rape, incest, prostitution and other abominable acts are taking place right here in this blessed land.

In the Holy Bible, the prophet Nahum warned “Woe to the bloody city, it is full of lies and robbery: the prey departeth not.” Nahum 3:1

People of St Vincent and the Grenadines, where there is a prey, there is also likely to be a predator. The predator here is the Jezebel Spirit.

Verse 4 of Nahum, Chapter 3, provides another truth, “because of the multitude of the whoredoms of the well-favoured harlot, the mistress of witchcrafts, that selleth nations through her whoredom, and families through her witchcrafts.”

Nahum further warns that because the nation is tolerating Jezebel, the Lord said, “I am against thee.”

Many of us know that “righteousness exhalteth a nation, but sin in a reproach to any people,” Proverbs 14.34.

The spirit of Jezebel is a sinful spirit, it lures, it entices and it beguiles people to sin, to do things that are contrary to the will of God. Just as the serpent beguiled Eve, so the Jezebel Spirit is here beguiling many of us, and sad to say, we are falling victim to this evil predator.

The Jezebel Spirit is one of the most evil forces of Hell, operating in many nations today. Her aim is to destroy the nations through deception and witchcraft.

Jezebel also targets true men and women of God, and try to kill them, both physically and spiritually. This spirit has so much authority here, that it has been prophesying over our nation.

It is Jezebel’s prophecy that there will be an increase in vicious crimes. This is no prophecy from God. This is a curse on the nation from Satan himself. Unless we pray against this curse, it will continue to come upon us.

Just look at the many young people roaming the streets of our city daily. So many of them are already bounded by spirits of insanity, infirmity and rebellion. So many of them are hooked on drugs and pornography. So many of them are already spiritually dead. The signs are all around us. It is time that we realize that we are in battle.

Yes, it is warfare time, but we do not need knives, guns, cutlasses or any physical weapons to defeat this enemy.

Let us as a people cloak ourselves with the robe of righteousness. Let us “put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” Ephesians 6;11. The devil has sent a predator to our land. Unless we pray, this predator will continue to feed on its prey.
