Wake up, young ladies, from your destructive sleep!

Fri, Feb 24. 2012

Editor: “..The son of man (Christ) is as a man taking a far journey….. Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at evening or midnight or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning, lest coming suddenly he finds you sleeping.”-Mark 13:34-36. This life-saving message goes to all, as the Saviour pointed out, with the obvious inclusion of the young ladies today who have depraved their characters in a prolonged spiritual sleep.{{more}} Their eyes have been closed by Satan, and as a result their deeds demonstrate slackness and evil. In obedience to the adversary, they fornicate, using youthfulness and human weakness as excuses. As if this weren’t shameful enough, they are partakers of adulterous acts and are pleased with the idea that these misdeeds are respectable badges of their femininity and ability to use their bodies to achieve their vain desires. Their minds imagine evil pleasures and their fruits in the public concede to this fact. Decency, respect and godliness all give way to unrighteousness and foolishness when the majority of young ladies of contemporary times are carefully examined. These young ladies have become transgressors of every commandment, and their minds are corrupt through self-exaltation. Very sadly, their filthy inner garments are mirrored by those which they choose to put on their bodies. Their clothing so often includes the unpleasant, “eye-burning”, tight pants and short skirts which unduly outline their shape and expose their skin. Worn with these are the back-outs and other unsightly garments which reflect little of the bible’s standard of adornment “…..in modest apparel”-1 Tim 2:9. Their minds have been steered towards self-focus. In doing so, they have become lovers of themselves more than lovers of God, unthankful to Christ for his sacrifice and unholy. Those who do not extend their sins to the sphere of the public believe that private wrongs, which so often manifest themselves in unprofitable kissing and petting, carry less penalty in the judgment of God. In stark contrast, know Oh young ladies that God’s eyes have fallen upon your wickedness both in the public and privacy of your lives. His “eyes (indeed) are in every place beholding the evil and the good”- Prov 15:3. Who knows the thoughts and will of Yahweh for you and what advice the scripture in relation to your sins? Wake up young ladies and” repent ye therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord”-Acts 3:19. If you honestly confess your sins, he is faithful and just to forgive you of your sins and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness -John1:9. Be obedient to his commandments and prove that you love Yahweh (God) -John 14:15. Wake up and realize that there’s nothing wrong with being righteous-nothing shameful in serving the one who created you for his pleasure. Turn from fornication and other sinful practices and “let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body that you should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of righteousness unto sin but yield yourselves unto God as those that are alive from the dead and your members as instruments of righteousness unto Yahweh (God).”-Rom 6:12-14.
