Hott Vibes Summa campers visit Searchlight

The children of the Hot Vibes Promotion Summa Fest programme visited SEARCHLIGHT last Tuesday as part of an educational tour.

The students had also visited the construction site of the Argyle International Airport and the Bryden and Partners offices at Paul’s Avenue.{{more}} The children were given a tour of SEARCHLIGHT and were told of the process of completing a paper as well as the functions of the different departments by Executive Assistant Molicia Charles and Chief Sub Editor Jude Knight.

The Hot Vibes promotion third annual Suma Fest 2011 began on August 7, 2011, and will end on Saturday 27. The activities of the month included a beach cleanup, sports such as basketball, tennis, volleyball, football and cricket, and trips to sites around the country.

The aim of the programme is to assist with the development of the youths of North Leeward and surrounding communities in sport, cultural entertainment, education and environmental preservation. It also serves as a means for the youths to occupy their time meaningfully during the summer vacation.
