Pot holes not properly fixed

Editor: Those highways or main roads continue to be of concern to vehicle drivers. I know some repair work was done recently to fill the pot holes. However, it is a shame that at present they are in a deplorable condition. The same potholes that were filled, many of them have opened up again. This is a shame!{{more}}

One wonders why it is that after such a short time the same holes that were filled open up again. Surely, if the work was properly done, it would not have opened up so soon. This is indeed a waste of money. I wonder if proper supervision was given when these roads are repaired and if the contractors are qualified.

Another area that needs attention is the abundance of bush at the side of the road. Many times it is hard to see the oncoming traffic, because the grass and trees have become so thick and tall.

I recommend that there should be regular gangs on the road to clean the highways and do repairs. This will save the thousands of dollars that are spent when the holes become wide and it will also minimize the damage to vehicle parts and prevent accidents.
