Ridicule is a poor substitute for sound argument and proper reasoning

Editor: Failing marriages, psychological stress with the knowledge that your husband is homosexual and the hypocritical lifestyle of both gays and lesbians who seek to cover up their disgusting practice with a socially acceptable domestic arrangement is no reason whatsoever for the framers of the Constitution, or any one as matter of fact, to accept homosexuality and homosexual marriages in SVG.{{more}} Don’t you know that ridicule is a poor substitute for sound argument and proper reasoning?

Call me homophobic as much as you want. Not because it is as a growing lifestyle among doctors, lawyers, street sweepers, musicians, bankers, businessmen and gardeners all over our society makes this practice right and deserves my approval or any one’s at all. One’s intellectual ability is not more valuable than moral uprightness. The truth about the practice of homosexuality is that it is an abomination. It is a blasphemous practice that is an insult to the creator who created man with physical, intellectual and moral nature- the intellectual having to do with the mind, reasoning or will, thoughts or choice, imagination, comprehension and consciousness- his conscience giving him a sense of right and wrong. When man was created in the Garden of Eden, God saw that it was not good that the man should be alone and the Lord caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs…and made he a woman and brought her unto the man. Gen 2:18, 21, and 22. Believe it or not!

No human being is born gay or lesbian but they re-educate themselves to find pleasure in things they once condemned whether due to boredom, money, curiosity, sensuality and or inclination. So in the vile affections, women change the natural use into that which is against nature and likewise the men leaving the natural use of the women burned in their lust one to another; men with men working that which is unseemly…(penile penetration- putting the penis into the anus. You wouldn’t like to really know the behavior of the homosexual- it is sickening!). This sickening practice involves anal sex, fisting and rectal insertion of foreign bodies. Biblical reference shows that almost the whole tribe of Dan and also Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed because of this unnatural practice. Yet you call non-approval discrimination of a group of people? Utter rubbish!

I cannot change the colour of my skin as it is not a matter of choice. However, behaviour is a choice; one can choose to be morally upright or not. When a child is born, as he grows his rational develops. He learns from his surrounding and adopts values. So, one is not born a little gay boy or a little lesbian girl. As he or she grows his mind is convinced by certain knowledge, whether it is morally upright or not and his appetite to act is affected based on what he or she allows to convince the reasoning. His reasoning, thoughts and imagination affect his choice and will. This is why we are admonished to train up a child in the fear and knowledge of God.

Finally, the only true definition of marriage will always be between a person who is biologically female at birth and a person who is biologically male at birth. Don’t provide an opportunity for such abominable practice to be lawful in SVG. Let us preserve our nation and our Christian culture. God hath said: “Knowing the judgment of God that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same but have pleasure in them that do them. Rom 1:32
