Unite in fight against crime

Editor: As a Vincentian living abroad, and one who has done so for the last 30 years, one of the things I look forward to each year is my making my annual trips back home.

However, with the recent upsurge in crime, which appears to be a daily occurrence, I am having a serious rethink whether to cancel my trip. {{more}} I know of at least four people who have already done so.

I would urge everyone, across the political divide, to approach and implement strategic measures to stop this spread of criminal activities which is harming the country economically. It is extremely frightening to see the reputation of my beloved country being damaged because of the increase in the criminal element. It must be stopped now, before it is too late.
