A year has passed since you left us
Our hearts still ache the sadness
Our silent tears still flow
For what it meant to lose you
No one will ever know

We have lost a loving brother
But we have not lost our memories of him
Nor of his life
You’ve left us beautiful memories
And these memories shall live in our hearts

For cherished memories never fade
Because a love one is gone
For those we love remains with us
For love lives on
Again our family chain is broken

But as God calls us one by one
The chain will link again
God has you in his keeping
We have you in our hearts
