Club St. Vincent, Inc.’s Cultural Exposition, held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the Friends of Crown Heights, 671 Prospect Place in Brooklyn, NY, USA, was deemed a “resounding success” by the organisation’s Public Relations Officer Verna Arthur.
Speaking after the event, Arthur expressed satisfaction with this year’s Expo which was held under the theme “A taste of home abroad”.
The Expo, which is held in New York annually to showcase Vincentian entrepreneurs by providing exposure for their products was held for the first time since 2022, and the planning period was short.
“It was a matter of months which we planned this, as opposed to having that whole one year to do the planning,” stated Arthur, who also chair the organising committee.
“I was extremely satisfied with the vendors and with the performance, the live entertainment. This year, a lot of people purchased a lot from the vendors, and that was so good. We had vendors ranging from age 12 years old to 84 years old,” Arthur stated.
“The participants, they were very excited. And I must concur that it was a resounding success after that three-year hiatus.”
