Campden Park woman given suspended sentence for wounding
A CAMPDEN PARK WOMAN was given a suspended sentence for wounding another woman who was now in an intimate relationship with her former boyfriend.
Reion McCree, 29, appeared at the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court before Senior Magistrate Tammika Mckenzie yesterday, May 11, 2026 where she was charged that on October 7, 2025 at Kingstown she unlawfully and maliciously wounded Leslie-Ann Dopwell, 34, of Campden Park. The facts revealed in court are that Dopwell is a nursing assistant at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, attached to the Male Medical Ward.
Dopwell and McCree have known each other for some time. Dopwell was the new intimate partner of McCree’s ex-boyfriend of about three years. That relationship had ended.
At about 7:20 p.m on the date in question Dopwell alighted from a passenger van at the bus stop located at Bentick Square near Independence Park when she saw McCree at the said bus stop.
