Mountain View and Bequia Anglican High top Robotics Competition
A TEAM FROM the Mountain View Adventist Academy (MVAA), Richland Park, and the Charles Adam Anglican High School (CAAHS), Bequia emerged as the overall winners in the finals of the annual Secondary Schools Robotics Competition organised by the National Centre for Technological Innovation (NCTI).
The Robotics Finals held at the Methodist Church Hall, Kingstown on April 21, 2026, saw 15 schools participating in the finals, with some schools having multiple teams participating.
In the Beginners Category, a team from the Mountain View Adventist Academy (MVAA), took the top place, while in the Advanced Category, the Charles Adams Anglican High School (CAAHS), formerly the Bequia Community High School, emerged at the top.
Jathneil John and his team from the MVAA, related being happy to compete and even happier to have won.
For them the competition was “okay” as they typed in the hard parts of the code quite fast, but time was their issue.
