Former Diplomat debuts crime novel
CARLISLE RICHARDSON has promised to feature the Caribbean on an international scale with his debut novel, ‘The Soft Underbelly.’
Richardson is a St Kitts and Nevis national who is currently based in Australia working in the field of international relations.
Despite having done several literary pieces, in the past, ‘The Soft Underbelly,’ which would be published on June 1, 2026.
During an interview with SEARCHLIGHT, Richardson who shared that he worked as a diplomat in the Foreign Service of St. Kitts and Nevis, including as Ambassador to the United Nations, said that the novel is a crime story with political ramifications.
‘…it revolves around two investigators, one a local police officer and the other… a British Secret Service agent, who are trying to connect different dots,” he said.
