Union Island Man on four gun charges, remanded
A UNION ISLAND MAN who is facing four gun related charges, including shooting another man in his left leg with a firearm, was remanded into custody.
Zouck Mills appeared at the Serious Offences Court before Chief Magistrate Colin John, on April 9,2026 where he was charged that on March 30, 2026 at Clifton, Union Island he unlawfully and maliciously wounded 27-year-old water taxi operator James Monix, of the same address by striking him on the head, and shooting him in the left leg with a firearm. Mills is also charged that he had an illegal firearm in his possession with intent to endanger the life of the same complainant; that he possessed an illegal firearm, the make and serial number unknown, without a license issued under the Firearm Act; and that he discharged an illegal firearm at Monix.
