This election is a galaxy of stars, says Gonsalves

The upcoming general elections in St Vincent and the Grenadines will be about the ability of the political candidates to shine.

That is the conclusion of Dr Ralph Gonsalves, leader of the Unity Labour Party (ULP) which is seeking a sixth consecutive term in office.

“ This election is a galaxy of stars,” the Prime Minister said on radio on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.

At the time, he was sharing some reflections about the ULP’s political meeting held in Layou the previous weekend.

Dr. Gonsalves said two stars have already emerged as the 2025 elections campaign intensifies. He named these as Dr. Grace Walters, who is the ULP’s standard bearer in North Windward, and Dr Orando Brewster who is contesting again in Central Leeward.
