Vincy Heat has all to play for tonight in Jamaica

St Vincent and the Grenadines’ Senior Men’s Football team, Vincy Heat, will continue to pursue their prospects of advancing to the prestigious CONCACAF Gold Cup when they face Jamaica tonight at the Sabina Park in Jamaica.

The Vincentians were seconds away from defeating the Jamaicans when the two met last Friday, March 21, 2025, under the lights at the Arnos Vale Playing Field.

Oalex Anderson scored in the 65th minute to give the home supporters much to cheer about.

However, Jamaica benefited from a late penalty that was slotted home by Leon Bailey which essentially was the last kick of the match.

The team that travelled to Jamaica include Lemus Christopher, Deondre Abraham and Gavin Davis (goalkeepers); defenders- Nigel Charles, Dimitri Thomas, Joseph Barton, Jazzi- Bobb, Tristan Marshall, Brandon John, Andrew Johnson, and Najima Burgin.

The midfield selectees are Kennijha Joseph, Diel Spring, Adden Charles, Micah Joseph , Kirtney Franklyn, Nazir Mc Burnette, Kyle Edwards.

The strikers are Cornelius Stewart, Steven Pierre, Shak Adams, Azinho Solomon, Oryan Velox and Oalex Anderson.
