PM in the runnings again for North Central Windward

“Ralph is running again!” That is the word from Prime Minister, Dr. Ralph Gonsalves who told radio listeners to NBC’s Morning Cup programme on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, that he will seek to be parliamentary representative for North Central Windward for a sixth consecutive time when the general elections are called.

Gonsalves said in certain areas there is propaganda saying that he is retiring from politics.

“Ralph is running again. You want to hear it again? Ralph is running again. The six-star general is talking to you; he’s running again.”

He noted that members of the New Democratic (NDP) have no solutions for any issue and all they do is complain and blame him for everything.

“…you go down the road, yo stump yo toe, is Ralph fault…yo say ‘I take good care of my man, I take good care of my woman, but they horn you, is Ralph fault’…have a life nah! What kind of grumpy old men they have over there on that side?” the PM questioned.

He said there are people who are spreading rumours about government being stagnant with the rebuilding efforts in the Southern Grenadines and other areas, but that is far from the case.

“I just want to put context here. We are the only country that I know in the world after a hurricane, natural disaster, so far to take on the responsibility to build back houses and to repair houses,” Gonsalves pointed out.
