St George Lodge makes financial donation to Bequia victim of Hurricane Beryl

A resident of Bequia who lost her home during the passage of Hurricane Beryl on July 1, 2024, has received financial assistance from the brethren of St George Lodge #2616 EC on behalf of the District Grand Lodge of Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean.

A cheque in the sum of EC$ 15,000 was presented to Andrea McKree of Union Vale, Bequia on Sunday, November 24, 2024 who was among the victims of the category 4 hurricane.

Ms McKree thanked the Brethren for the donation and asked that they convey her thanks to the District.

The St George Lodge said in a release that the outreach in the community for the members of the Lodge #2616EC and The District Grand Lodge of Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean “will be continuous as we bring awareness to the Freemasons as a charitable organization”.
