Businessman’s vehicles shot up over the weekend

Police have launched an investigation into an incident where three trucks belonging to a local businessman were riddled with bullets over the weekend.

When contacted on Thursday, October 17, 2024, the businessman refused to comment on the incident, but did confirm that the vehicles were struck by gunfire.

“This is a serious issue, so I don’t want to comment on it,” the local entrepreneur told SEARCHLIGHT respectfully via telephone.

The trucks were parked at the time of the incident and no one was hurt during the attack.

A police source confirmed that the matter is under investigation, but did not go into details.

The owner of the vehicles operates several businesses ranging from beverage sales, to the sale of construction materials,. He was recently the target of a woman who used social media to attack him.
