East Caribbean Feeds participates in St. Kitts Agricultural Fair

East Caribbean Feeds, a subsidiary of the East Caribbean Group of Companies (ECGC), said it is once again actively supporting a yearly agricultural event in St Kitts which takes place later this week.

In a release, the Campden Park- based company said it is a proud sponsor of the April 25-26 St. Kitts Open Day Agricultural Fair which “is a significant event that aims to showcase the diverse facets of the agricultural sector, bringing together farmers, agribusiness, fishers, and agro-processors”.

This year is the 29th anniversary of the fair whose goal is “to create a

comprehensive platform for promoting sustainable agriculture by fostering awareness, education, and collaborations across all key stakeholders”.

ECGC said it has been providing top

quality feeds as well as technical services to St. Kitts for more than three decades and has participated in the fair since 2023.

It “is delighted to do so once again as

the company is committed to supporting the livestock industry, providing feeds for maximum nutrition, for sustainable agriculture and guaranteed food security” to those in the agriculture sector.

Other major participants at the fair include the Food and Agriculture Organization, the Inter-American

Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA), and Caribbean Chemicals.
