Foundation contributes A/C units and toys to Ministry of Education

As part of its continued partnership, the Authentic Caribbean Foundation Inc. (ACFI) recently donated air conditioning units and toys to the Ministry of Education (MOE) in St Vincent and the Grenadines.

Some of the toys were given to the Paget Farm Government School (PFGS), along with an air conditioning (A/C) unit for the school’s computer laboratory. This donation comes on the heels of a previous contribution of three computers to improve ICT integration at the institution.

The Fair Hall Government School also received some toys, while the second of the two A/C units has been allocated to the Special Education Unit in the Ministry of Education, a MOE release states.

The Ministry thanks chairman Andrew Sharpe and the Authentic Caribbean Foundation Inc. for their continued support and collaboration.

The Authentic Caribbean Foundation Inc. has been providing support to the Ministry of Education in SVG since 2020, particularly in the areas of neurodiversity and inclusion. Through its collaboration, the organization has been instrumental in coordinating coding opportunities for young learners in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, including children with disabilities.
