Giddens heads new Board of Hotel and Tourism Association

The St Vincent and the Grenadines Hotel and Tourism Association has elected Isola Giddens as its new president.

Giddens, who operates Grenadines House, was elected by the Association’s membership on Tuesday February, 20, 2024.

She heads a new Board of Directors that also comprises- vice president, Batu Erem, (Soho House Canouan).

Hotels representative is Keisha Browne (Mariners Hotel); Resorts representative, Bianca Porter (Young Island Resort); Yachting representative, Philip Barnard (Barefoot Yacht Charters); Dive representative, Vaughn Martin (Serenity Dive); Restaurant representative, Kahlil Bacchus (Moonshine Restaurant); Land Tour Operator, Nicole Gun Munro (Blue Destination); Allied General, Efe Gurol (Beachcombers); with immediate past president, Kim Halbich of Paradise Beach Hotel.

In her acceptance speech, president Giddings thanked the meeting for electing her, and said that she is looking forward to continuing the work of the outgoing president and Board.
