Unemployed man charged with gun and ammo theft

An unemployed man of Bequia has been charged with theft of a firearm and ammunition.

Tiquaido Williams, 26 was arrested and charged on August 1 with the theft of one Glock 19 pistol, valued at EC$3500 and 15 rounds of .9 mm ammunition valued at EC$15.

A release from the police said the items, which have a total value of $3515 were stolen at Arnos Vale between 2:00 pm on July 21 and 4:00 pm on July 29.

Williams will appear at the Serious Offences Court of answer the charge.
