Serving police officer dies after brief illness

The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) is in mourning after the death of one of its serving members. In a release, the RSVGPF said Police Constable 932 Dennis Prescott, of Vermont died on Sunday, May 7, at his home after a brief illness.

Constable Prescott was enlisted into the organization on December 9, 2015, and served the organization and the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) for just over seven years. At the time of his death, he was attached to the Rapid Response Unit (RRU).

Commissioner of Police, Colin John, and the other ranks of the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force have extended condolences to Constable Prescott’s family and friends in their time of mourning, the release states.
