Chester Cottage man found in his yard with gunshot wound

St. Vincent and the Grenadines has recorded its 34th homicide for the year with the recent shooting death of a Chester Cottage man.

The deceased has been identified as Cyprian Mack alias “Secret”.

Reports are that on Tuesday, November 2, the deceased was met lying in his yard with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to his head. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the District Medical Officer (DMO). The motive surrounding the killing is unknown.

A postmortem examination is expected to be carried out on Mack’s body to ascertain the exact cause of death. Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
