SVGIHF thanks PM Gonsalves for their recent trip to India

A MEETING OF the Executive of the SVG Indian Heritage Foundation (SVGIHF) with Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves took place last week, during which the SVGIHF thanked the Prime Minister for including their organization in his official visit to India last year.

The delegation from the SVGIHF included its president Junior Bacchus, who presented the Prime Minister with photos taken in India and a copy of a report written by Cheryl Rodriguez, the SVGIHF’s treasurer and their representative on the official visit to India.

“A number of important matters were discussed and updates will be provided in due course as the plans and goals of the Foundation are achieved and realized,” a release from the SVGIHF said.

The Foundation also informed that its Outreach Programme continues, with a new series “Conversations with our Elders”.

“Interviews have been conducted with several of our seniors. The series will be available on the foundation’s You-Tube channel located at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjZY2ihU8kVQK3HhnzGi9Qg , and several others will be shared during the month of March 2020 on this channel and on the Foundation’s Facebook page.

This is a rich and rewarding exercise to hear stories of the journeys of our forefathers. Well-wishers and supporters can look forward to exciting times during this year.”
