Christian coalition set for march and rally around Kingstown

A group of churches here has organized a march and rally for next Thursday to highlight certain national issues of social and moral concern.

The Christian Coalition SVG, in a release said the theme of the march and rally is “A Call to Righteousness, Calling our Nation to God.” The March will take place on November 14 from 11:00am to 1:30pm, and the Rally will begin at 12.30pm at Heritage Square.

The areas which will be highlighted at the march and rally are (1) The Challenge to the Buggery Laws of SVG (2) Crime and (3) The Family – Rape/Domestic Abuse.

The March will start simultaneously at Mahogany Square (the Girls’ High School Bus Stop) and at Little Tokyo. There will be joint prayer at the Court House, then the march will proceed to Heritage Square.

All persons are asked to dress in plain, white t-shirts/polo shirts/jerseys.

The Christian Coalition SVG is a collaboration of various churches including but not limited to The Association of Evangelical Churches, Seventh Day Adventists, Methodists, Catholics, Spiritual Baptists.
