Exhibition held to raise awareness about Tradewinds

The Public Information Sub-committee of the National Organizing Committee (NOC) and Secretariat Office for Exercise Tradewinds 2019; in collaboration with the National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) held an exhibition on Friday May 17 in front of the Central Police Station on Bay Street, Kingstown.

The objective of the exhibition which commenced at 10:00 am and concluded at 2:00 pm was to bring awareness to members of the general public about Exercise Tradewinds, Phase Two; which will be held in St. Vincent and the Grenadines from June 14 – 21, 2019.

During the exhibition, members of the public got the opportunity to view several videos about Exercise Tradewinds and a documentary on La Soufriere. Over 300 brochures and bookmarkers were distributed and 30 volunteers were recruited as role players for the exercise. The committee wishes to thank everyone who supported the exhibition and made it a success.
