Green Hill Sports and Cultural Club hosts children’s fun day

The Green Hill Sports and Cultural Club hosted another of its annual children’s fun days on Saturday, November 17, as part of Universal Children’s Day (November 20), which is commemorated worldwide.

The activity was held at the Green Hill Children’s playground and saw a number of children having competitive fun on the slides, seesaw, swings, and by playing cricket, moral, tug o war, hop scotch and sack races.

The activity was being held for the 12th year under the UCD theme: “Children of today, Our keepers tomorrow” and offered the children the opportunity to play, show respect and tolerance and socialise, in a violent and crime free environment.
