Canouan Sailing Club to host annual Regatta activities

The Canouan Sailing Club will host its annual Regatta Activities from May 17 to 21.

The week commenced with a church service on May 13.Yesterday, Thursday, May 17, the Club officially commenced this year’s activities at the club house with an opening ceremony and cultural presentation.

Addresses were delivered by Commodore Cuthbert Williams and parliamentary representative Terrence Ollivierre.

Today, there will be saraka and card games while tomorrow Saturday, there will be boat races, a display of local entrepreneurship and the Miss Whitsuntide Princess Pageant and after party.On Sunday, May 19, there will be boat races, a wet fete and flow, while on Monday, the activities will culminate with a prize giving ceremony.
