Latter-Day Saints to host Open House April 1

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints will be hosting an Open House at the Kingstown church building on Saturday, April 1, 10 a.m. – 12 noon. The church is located just above the St Martin Secondary School.

The community is invited to tour the building and to enjoy displays of interest to families, teens, and young adults. The Family History Library (genealogy) will also be open to the public. Several short church-related films will be available for viewing as well. Light refreshments will be served. There will also be a live satellite broadcast from church headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA, with speakers selected from the General Officers of the church. The broadcast will begin at 12 noon.

No donations are expected or accepted. Local members and missionaries will be hosting and will be happy to answer questions by visitors.
