Rubis shows appreciation to loyal customers

Drivers of the various classes of vehicles in St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) were allowed an opportunity to win various prizes, and also to become eligible for greater rewards, as leading petroleum company Rubis shifted into high gear its year end promotions.

Last week Wednesday, December 14, at the Questelles Service Station, drivers were able to win various prizes, but what caught the attention of most was the votes of confidence in the products offered by Rubis.{{more}}

Although they were shy to speak on air as NBC Radio was broadcasting the promotions live, according to a driver of a pick-up: “I used to drive another vehicle and was always a customer, but when I bought this one, I decided to try Sol. I was not getting the kind of mileage that I was used to, despite this one has a smaller engine. So, I decided to try Rubis about a month ago and I have not regretted.”

A female driver was pleased that Rubis was showing some appreciation for customers, and even the children got not just to meet the ever present Santa, but had their own package of goodies to collect from the white-bearded, red-clothed ho-ho-ho singing once a year visitor.

On Friday, December 16, it was the turn of customers at the SVG Motors Service Station at Arnos Vale to experience the Rubis customer appreciation. It was a busy and hectic afternoon, as drivers stopped to replenish their either empty or near empty tanks.

Like their counterparts at Questelles, customers proceeded to the Zig-Zag board to try for any one of a number pf prizes. Having won the prize as decided by the board, everyone did win something, those having spent $50 or more in fuel and or lubricants being given another opportunity to win major prizes.

Their names were written on an entry form, placed in a box, and by 6 p.m. Santa would be dipping his white-gloved hand into the box to select a number of prizes for the winners.

One gentleman who was at the station to fill up his newly purchased vehicle, was asked why he chose Rubis.

“I have used various branded gasolines over the years, and so have been able to have an understanding of which one is best not just for my vehicle, but also my pocket. You have to know what kind of stress your vehicle will be put through, the age of the vehicle, its service history, and the products you are using. I have been using Rubis before it was named Rubis, so I know my gas.”

Rubis country representative Elroy Edwards, who went about speaking and greeting customers at both service stations, said that “Rubis is always looking at new and innovative ways to please customers, which is one of our top priorities.”

The Rubis Customer Appreciation drive continued yesterday at the Georgetown Service Station, and will continue tomorrow, Wednesday, December 21, at the Harmony Service Station at Peruvian Vale, and Friday, December 23 at the SVG Automotive Service Station in Kingstown.
