JEMS donates health care supplies to Lewis Punnett Home

For the third consecutive year, the New York based non-profit humanitarian organization JEMS: Hope 4 Home has donated health care and comfort supplies to help Vincentian citizens at the Lewis Punnett Home in St Vincent and the Grenadines.{{more}}

The initiative, which began in 2011 as a part of JEMS’ “Hope for Home” motto, is an effort lead by president Carol Simmons and her team of Vincentians living in New York.

This is the fifth year of JEMS’ general efforts, which have served various communities in St Vincent and the Grenadines during this time, including North Windward, North Leeward, Central Leeward, East, Central and West Kingstown, Marriaqua and Bequia. In addition to food packages, JEMS has provided medically related supplies to community Clinics in East and West St George, Union Island and East Kingstown.

JEMS expresses special thanks to Jillien Cummings and also to Gideon “Fessy” Yorke of Standard Shippers for their special support in this 2016 effort for the Lewis Punnett Home.
