Parenting Programme visits town of Layou

VINSAVE/SVG PARENTING PARTNERS took their Parenting Programme to the Layou community on Tuesday, November 8, 2016.

The students in training at the Vinsave Child Development Centre, supported by Janice Fraser, parenting facilitator, mounted a display of Parenting and Early Childhood Development materials on the Layou waterfront, and engaged the community in matters of Parenting and Early Childhood Education.{{more}} The children of the Vinsave Layou Pre-school also visited and interacted with the group.

This activity was part of the requirements of the Parenting Course, which is offered as part of the Early Childhood Education training programme.

The persons who visited were also given handouts on various areas of Parenting and Early Childhood Education to guide them in the important role of parenting.
