Patients benefit from The Kidney Society

The Kidney Society of St Vincent and the Grenadines Inc had its initial fund-raising event, a Gospel Concert in March 2016 and is proud to finally be able to distrbute funds raised from that event to kidney patients in SVG.

Earlier this month, Francine DeYoung, administrator of The Kidney Society of St Vincent and the Grenadines Inc, distributed cheques to persons who had applied to the organization for assistance. The recipients will utilize the funds for costs associated with the ongoing treatment of kidney disease.{{more}}

In her meeting with the patients, DeYoung said a full accounting of the money raised at their initial fund-raising event can be found on their website: kidneysocietysvg.com

“Thank you to all who supported our efforts thus far and we look forward to their support at our next fund-raising event at the end of October for SVG Independence,” DeYoung said.

She encouraged persons, both locally and abroad, to continue to give to the organization so it can carry out its mandate of assisting persons battling kidney disease.
