Courts ‘Sleepy Days Ahead’ campaign hailed a success

Commercial Manager at Courts St Vincent Limited Lisa Veira says the recently concluded Sleepy Days Ahead campaign was a successful one, and thanked persons for supporting a worthy cause in the process.

Veira said that because of shoppers’ purchases, the furniture, appliance, electronics and eyewear supplier was able to contribute towards the fight against cancer.{{more}}

“Thanks to the loyalty of our customers, we handed over $4,500 to Project Pink, who we partnered with during this promotion.

“For every mattress, bed or bedding sale, we donated a portion to Project Pink, and we could not have done it without the devotion of the persons who chose to make Courts their bedding supplier of choice,” Veira said.

At a brief handover ceremony, Veira used the opportunity to thank Courts customers and encouraged them to continue to shop at Courts where they have the opportunity to contribute to worthy causes and have chances to win in the process.

Project Pink public relations officer LaFerne Fraser, who accepted the cheque on behalf of the charitable organization, thanked Courts for the gesture and indicated that she looked forward to working with the store on future projects.

“We at Project Pink are extremely grateful for this donation, which we know will go a long way in helping us to fulfill our objective, which is to make the lives of persons affected by cancer a little easier.”

Also receiving a cheque on the day was Aldan Ferdinand, who won the Mattress Full of Cash promotion.

Ferdinand won himself $2,000, after purchasing a mattress at Courts.

Veira congratulated the visibly elated male nurse, who was grateful to Courts for the timely prize.
