Kingdom Life dethrones Faith Temple at 2016 Bible Festival

Kingdom Life Ministries of Kearton’s Barrouallie are the new champions of the Bible Festival here in St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG), having won the 2016 National Independence Bible Festival.

Last Sunday evening, the church, with its second win in the competition, edged out the two-time defending champion Faith Temple Church, who had to settle for second place.{{more}} The final results show: first – Kingdom Life Ministries (359 points); second – Faith Temple Church (350); third – Hope for Life Restoration Ministries (347); fourth – Shekinah Worship Centre (267).

Other awards presented on the night included: Best Speech – Abiola Oyeobu, Hope For Life Restoration Ministries; Best Bible Boxer – Shanna Victor, Shekinah Worship Centre; Best Bible Dramatist – Rudisha Mc Tair, Hope For Life Restoration Ministries; Best Young Quizzer – Bernique Haynes, Kingdom Life Ministries; Most Outstanding Quizzer – Marcia Roberts, Hope For Life Restoration Ministries; Most Outstanding Participant – Chrislon Fraser, Kingdom Life Ministries.

The festival, which is organized by the SVG Gospel Fest Committee and is into its eighth year, was held under the theme: “Study to show thyself approved”.
