CIBC, Massy United Insurance introduce insurance subsidiary to better serve customers

Customers and potential customers of CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank now have the option of insuring their homes and vehicles with the bank, through its newly established insurance agency.

Last Tuesday, CIBC FirstCaribbean, in collaboration with Massy United Insurance, launched their joint insurance agency at a cocktail reception, at the Flow Wine Bar and Restaurant in Kingstown, where the customers were introduced to the services that are available to them through the agency.{{more}}

Paul Inniss, the director of Insurance for CIBC FirstCaribbean, informed those in attendance that this was an easier and more convenient way to insure property and automobiles, giving them the ability to make payments online or in-branch via credit card or even by SMS.

Inniss also highlighted the reliability, competitive and affordable pricing, as well as the broad scope of insurance protection available under the CIBC FirstCaribbean Insurance Agency.

Donna Wellington, managing director of the Barbados Operating Company, said that this is a new service provided by the bank, as it continues to bring innovative products and services to its clients, with a focus on convenience.

“Our insurance offer is the latest fine example of us providing client satisfaction in an efficient, high quality and economical manner. This is a major enhancement to our service and we thank our partners at Massy for providing us with state-of-the art technology to support our focus of consistently providing the client experience,” Wellington stated.

The gathering was also addressed by Massy United Insurance director of Business Development, Strategy and Marketing Michael Armstrong and André Cadogan, Retail Banking and Operations manager at FirstCaribbean.

Cadogan noted that the new insurance agency, along with the other superior lending and credit facilities, will bring an even greater level of convenience to the customers.
