Businessman wins signed football jersey from FLOW

Football fan Paul St John now has in his possession a Manchester United Football Club jersey, signed by midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger, number 31.

St John, a businessman, won the shirt through a random draw, which he was entered in when he signed up for the FLOW app on his mobile phone.

“I have been a long-time customer of FLOW and this is the first time I have won something from them. {{more}}When the person called and told me that I had won, I asked if they were sure they had the right person,” said St John.

The soccer fan said that he is trying to catch up with the latest soccer news, so the shirt has come at a good time.

“It was a good gesture. I never really look forward to winning; I never expected it, so I am pleased to get a signed shirt from one of the teams I always back,” said St John, who added that although he likes the German Schweinsteiger, he would have preferred England striker Wayne Rooney’s shirt.

“Thanks to FLOW for allowing me to win this. I appreciate it and look forward to more perks,” said St John.

The shirt was handed over by FLOW senior marketing and corporate communications manager Nikala Williams, at FLOW’s corporate offices on Halifax Street.
