He said that they noticed that one of the major bus terminals in Bequia was being occupied by private vehicles, âand last week we put in road markings and… road signs, police notice parking for omnibuses and we are calling on drivers in Bequia to comply with road signs.â
The traffic boss noted also that they have painted in a number of pedestrian crossings and road signs, as traffic is increasing and the island is becoming congested.
âWe have to ensure proper road markings are there and safety for all. We are calling on drivers in Bequia to comply, as the clamp team will be going to Bequia,â stressed John.
He also revealed that a number of road markings on the mainland will soon be redone. (LC)
