Burns meets US Ambassador

Joseph Burns Bonadie (right), president of the National Labour Congress, had the opportunity to meet with Larry Palmer (left), US Ambassador to Barbados, the Eastern Caribbean and OECS, last Tuesday, August 18. The duo chatted informally about several matters concerning workers issues and current affairs in SVG.{{more}}

Ambassador Palmer’s one-day visit also included conducting a proliferation security initiative exercise with several local agencies at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the signing of the Foreign Accounts Tax Compliance Act with Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves. Ambassador Palmer was also accompanied by Allison Listerman (centre), political/economic officer at the US Embassy (Barbados).
