Courts Fashionista competition into full swing next week

Up and coming fashion designers will once again have an opportunity to showcase their skills, thanks to furniture and appliance store Courts St Vincent.

The Courts Fashionista Fashion competition takes place Friday, August 28, and promises to be bigger and better than ever, as designers stand to win greater prizes than in the inaugural competition last year.{{more}}

This year, the person placing first will receive $2,500, along with a $100 Courts voucher towards any new purchase, a $100 fashion voucher from a fashion store, as well as a certificate of participation.

Second place will receive $1,000, plus the Courts and fashion vouchers, and third place gets $500 plus the Courts and fashion vouchers.

The designers are required to use furniture from the Courts furniture catalogue as inspiration to design and build their pieces, which would then be presented by some of this country’s top models for Courts customers and a panel of judges to view and critique.

The finalists for the event are expected to be named today.

The Courts Fashionista Fashion Competition runs in line with the latest furniture promotion, which promises great deals to customers, who are making either cash or credit purchases.
