ECGC donates to two local organizations

The East Caribbean Group of Companies has recently made donations to two local organizations.

The Infection Control Department of the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital received a donation of $560 for the purpose of purchasing polo shirts for members of the working group.{{more}}

The Kidney Society’s “Call to Contribute Campaign” (CCC) also received an ECGC contribution of $2000. The Kidney Society was formed in 2009 with a mission to assist persons afflicted with various stages of kidney disease.

The local manufacturer of Flour, Rice and Animal Feed, East Caribbean Group of Companies (ECGC) has a long tradition of contributing to many worthy causes in St Vincent and the Grenadines and the OECS. ECGC provides support in significant sectors such as education, culture, sports and health.

“It is hoped that these gestures although small will serve to further the cause of both institutions in the area of health care and garner more support from the wider community,” a release from ECGC said.
