BMC Agencies Graduates Calypso Tent commences rehearsals

The 2015 BMC Agencies Graduates Calypso Tent cast will feature a blend of experienced veterans alongside some young promising calypsonians.

A release from the Tent said that the newcomers include Chewalee Johnson, who is entering the calypso arena for the first time this year. There is also the very talented Kristiana CHRISTY Christopher,{{more}} who continues to impress calypso fans and another youngster in the form of Otis FLIPPER Cain who has shown tremendous potential since performing in the primary school calypso competition and continued in secondary school. Now he has raised his game to another level.

The cast is led by two-time national Calypso Monarch Glenroy SULLE Caesar and also has Best New Song 2015 calypso winner Kingsley HERO Roberts. There are two other national monarchs in Michael LORD HAVE MERCY Ollivierre and Maxwell TAJOE Francis

Road March Monarch Godwin GAO Billy is also part of the cast. Multiple times Extempo Monarch Alexis LEXIE Joseph will perform the duel task of calypsonian-master of ceremonies. Kahailia QUEEN B Beache has been magnificent over the past years. She has already impressed this year by capturing the Best New Song ragga soca title. Expect more from her with Graduates.

The rest of the cast are: Glenroy HOMEY Delpeche, Glen Bump-I Richards, Lynton Sweet Sixteen Samuel, Richard RANKING MANDY Samuels, Kendal WASSY Williams, Michael BLACK MESSENGER John, kosinski BUSTER SKI Adams, Lance Da VINCY Chapman, Gabriel JESSEKAYA Culzac, Michael BO SALT Daniel, Pilling DOUVALLE Pollard, GROOVY DREADY, Sonny SUNNY BANKS Young, ST Clair MITCH Lewis.

The tent starts rehearsals on Thursday, May 7th with the band VYKINZ and has three shows planned.

The first show is on Tuesday, June 2. The second show is on Tuesday, June 9 and preliminaries are on June 16.
