PM Gonsalves to embark on new ministerial campaign

Very soon, Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves will embark upon what he is calling a ‘prime ministerial campaign’ throughout St Vincent and the Grenadines.

Gonsalves made the announcement this week during a press conference at the Cabinet {{more}}Room and stated that more details of the campaign will be released in due course.

“I will shortly being embarking on the prime ministerial campaign called face to face with the Prime Minister… across all the communities in St Vincent and the Grenadines; of course I’m always in touch with the people of St Vincent and the Grenadines, but I will be doing it in a more intensified way,” he said.

Gonsalves is political leader of the ruling Unity Labour Party and has been prime minister of St Vincent and the Grenadines for three consecutive terms.

The next general elections are constitutionally due by December 2015, but must be held no later than March 2016.(BK)
