Digicel offers football fans glimpse of Valentine’s promotion prize

On Sunday during the opening of the Inter-League Soccer Competition at Victoria Park, persons got a first-hand glimpse of the Suzuki Swift car that Digicel is offering to its customers in the company’s Valentine’s promotion.{{more}}

The car, which was earlier in the week also displayed at the Nurses Hostel along the Leeward Highway, was placed under a tent at the Victoria Park and caught the attention of persons who had gathered to take in the soccer action.

There were also a number of Digicel giveaways at the park on Sunday that saw persons winning, among other things, Digicel handsets.

Marketing manager at Digicel Juno DeRoche said that Digicel’s latest giveaway, like many giveaways before, is aiming to enrich someone’s life.

She said that Digicel’s post-paid and prepaid customers have a chance to win the grey Suzuki Swift by simply texting “CAR” to 1130. Texts cost $1 and there is no limit as to how many times you can text.

DeRoche noted that the draw for the car will be done at the end of February, while she stressed that it is a Valentine’s promotion aimed at “showing Vincentians how much we love them.”

Many persons at the park on Sunday expressed interest in the promotion.
