Schools selected for COURTS Reading Competition finals

Seven primary school pupils have been selected to participate in the finals of the COURTS Reading Competition.

The finalists are: Riana Blake – Petersville Primary School; Aneila Cato – Kingstown Preparatory School;{{more}} Brielle Compton – Bequia Anglican Primary School; Rheanna Harry – Windsor Primary School; Kaje Jack – Colonarie Government School; Shamia James – Bequia Seventh Day Adventist Academy; Zonique Williams – Georgetown Government School.

The finals will take place on Friday, September 26 at Frenches House, beginning at 9 a.m.

The COURTS Reading competition is into its sixth year and the winner of the local leg will travel to Grenada to compete in the 2014 edition of the COURTS OECS Reading competition. Last year’s winner was Krysten Barbour of the St Mary’s Roman Catholic School.
