Courts bringing fashion back to superstore

Furniture and appliance store Courts St Vincent Limited is bringing fashion back to its Kingstown location, with its Fashionable Furniture campaign fashion show, set to take place next week Friday.{{more}}

Courts commercial manager Lisa Veira says that a number of local fashion designers will be turning the Courts showroom floor into a catwalk, where they will unveil some of their latest fashions, which are in sync with the furniture available at Courts, and walk away with cash in the process.

“We have a number of designers, as well as members of the public who have signed up to take part in the competition.

“Participants will need to take a piece of furniture featured in our furniture brochure, and will use that piece of furniture to influence them in the design and creation of an outfit.

“Each participant will need to provide their own model to display their creation, and also to help with the judging. The furniture of choice will also be featured on the runway for the audience to make the comparison,” Veira said.

Veira said that each participant in the fashion show will receive a $100 Courts voucher, which will be put towards any new purchase of $999 and up.

Each participant will also receive a $100 voucher from local fashion houses, as well as a certificate of participation.

She added that along with the already mentioned gifts, the designer judged in third place will receive $200 cash, while second place will earn $300 cash, and the winner will walk away with $1,000 cash.

Veira says that she expects the Fashionable Furniture fashion show to be a fun and exciting venture, and invites all fashion enthusiasts to turn up and be a part of the event.

“I am also making an appeal for all fashion lovers and Courts customers to come out and support local fashion on display at Courts.”

Meanwhile, Veira also indicated that Courts St Vincent Limited is at it again with its latest promotional campaign from MABE.

From Friday, August 29, until Friday, September 12 this year, Courts customers purchasing any MABE appliance, with the exception of microwave ovens, will automatically receive an $80 grocery voucher that can be redeemed at any CK Greaves Supermarket location.

“This promotion is geared towards giving back to its customers, for their loyalty to the company, when they buy a top quality appliance from one of the leading appliance makers in the world.

“We are also partnering with CK Greaves, one of the leading supermarkets in the country to make this possible,” she stated.
