Vincy Day Committee holds pre-event activity

As a means of whipping up support and publicity for the third annual Vincy Day USA 2014, the Vincy Day Committee will, this Saturday, August 9, host a food sale.{{more}}

The function, which begins at 1 p.m., takes place at David’s Bakery, located at 3405 Avenue H, between East 34th and East 35th Streets in Brooklyn, New York.

This is a prelude to the main event, set for Saturday August 16 at the campground of Heckscher State Park in East Slip, Long Island.

Meanwhile, the organizing committee has released the outlets where the parking permits can be obtained.

The outlets are Standard Shippers, Square Deal Shippers, Standard Shippers Caribbean, David’s Bakery, Pro Auto Solutions, KBB Shipping, Ethlyn’s Bakery, Garjo’s Auto Repair, Matrix and CDO.

Also the permits are available at the St Vincent and the Grenadines Consulate, New Topps Restaurant and Bakery, Straker’s Record World, Ralty’s, as well as from Desmarie Greenaway and Collin Liverpool.

The Vincy Day Committee is reiterating that the permits cost $5, will be issued for all vehicles under 15 seats, and must be purchased in advance and be displayed on the dashboard upon entry to the park.

The permit is in addition to the New York State Park $10.00 fee that is paid at the entrance of Heckscher State park.
